Remote Advanced Nurse Practitioner Job Responsibilities
| RESPONSIBILITY | DESCRIPTION |

| PRIMARY CARE CONSULTATIONS | Provide remote primary care consultations to Bupa Health Clinics (BHC) customers, following all national, local, & internal guidelines to ensure high satisfaction. |
| CLINICAL GOVERNANCE | Conduct clinical work according to the National Framework of Advanced Clinical Practice, NMC professional code, & Bupa’s code of conduct. |
| REFERRAL MANAGEMENT | Always operate within your individual clinical scope, referring customers to a GP or other clinicians when necessary, in line with internal processes. |
| INCIDENT REPORTING | Participate in incident reporting & investigations as outlined in BHC policy. |
| CONTINUAL PROFESSIONAL GROWTH | Engage in internal competency assessments, annual clinical reviews, & complete NMC revalidation every three years. |
| HIGH-QUALITY CARE DELIVERY | Provide excellent care to a diverse range of corporate & self-paying primary care customers, adhering to Bupa’s clinical governance, policies, procedures, & quality standards. |
| SERVICE IMPROVEMENT | Deliver outstanding professional & customer service, actively contributing ideas for continuous improvement to the remote clinical leadership team. |
| BUPA AMBASSADORSHIP | Positively & proactively promote Bupa to employees, corporate clients, & customers, building effective working relationships across the Bupa team. |
| INTERNAL REFERRAL PROMOTION | Promote other Bupa services, such as internal referral pathways, where appropriate. |
Remote Advanced Nurse Practitioner Job Requirements

| NMC REGISTRATION | Current NMC Registration (Adult Nurse) with no practice restrictions. |
| PRESCRIBING QUALIFICATION | Independent prescribing qualification (V300). |
| REGISTERED NURSE EXPERIENCE | Minimum 3 years of clinical practice as a registered Nurse. |
| ANP PRIMARY CARE EXPERIENCE | Minimum 2 years as a Primary Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner. |
| INDEPENDENT PRESCRIBER EXP. | Minimum 2 years as an Independent Prescriber. |
| BASIC LIFE SUPPORT | Current Basic Life Support Certificate. |
| SAFEGUARDING TRAINING | Current Safeguarding Children & Adult Level 3. |
| ADVANCED PRACTICE PILLARS | Ability to demonstrate implementation of the four pillars of advanced practice. |
| REMOTE WORK EXPERIENCE | Previous experience in remote working (desirable). |
| PRIVATE PRACTICE EXPERIENCE | Previous experience in private practice (desirable). |
